RAIPUR: A motivational talk was organised by S.B.I. Learning and Development for newly recruited Probationary Officers. This was a part of F.T.P.-1 training of 3 weeks for P.Os, in which motivational talk was give on various issues of life-management other than Banking. Invited guest speaker Dr. ArvindNeral, Prof. and HOD, Pathology Medical Collage Raipur has given an interesting presentation on life-style, leadership quality, time-management and role of youth in social activisim. On the title of lecture- "Jina Isi KaNaamhai"( जीना इसी का नाम है) , Dr. Neral has  urged the young P.Os to contribute significantly in various types of social activities for the development of society and country by giving examples of great teachings of Mother Teresa, Martin Luther king Jr. Dr. A.P.J. Abdul  Kalam, Swami Vivekanand, Dalai Lama and Mahatma Gandhi.

In an hour long presentation, Dr. Neral said that mighty social activities or projects can be successfully conducted by keeping in mind three basic principles of organizational.

Set-up: Collective Responsibility, Team-Work and Division of Labour. He gave the examples of mythological Rajasuya-Yagya and Lord Krishna’s advice to each villager to contribute in lifting the Goverdhan hill and said that these are the best examples of these principles. Emphasizing on the value of team-work, he said – “The world is moved not only by the mighty shoves of the heroes, but also by aggregate of tiny pushes of each honest worker.” He encouraged the young students to involve in creative or innovative constructive activities with 100% devotion and  dedication, sincerity and honesty, as if one Michelangelo is doing artistic  painting, Beethoven is creating a sensational  music or Shakespeare is writing a novel. Dr. Neral urged the audience to be the “Face in the Crowd’’, not just  part of the crowd. This can be achieved by doing something beyond what we have already  mastered and performing more than our routine and average.

While organizer of the programeAbhishekShrivastava, formally introducting Guest Speaker Dr. Neral , appreciated his variety of social activities. A.G.M. and Director of S.B.I. Mr. Sunil Shrivastava  briefed the history, progress and  contribution al SBI in social and financial development  of India. He also informed young P.Os that they can contribute a lot in social activities though Banking. This  motivation talk was attended  by all 27 newly recruited P.Os and S.B.I. Staff. In the last, Dr. Neral presented 2 motivational hindi movie songs- “ किसी की मुस्कुराहटों पे हो निसार ’’ and “ ज़िंदगी भीख में नहीं मिलती’’ in form of Group song involving all present.
