RAIPUR: The Yoga experts of Chhattisgarh underlined the need for regular practice of yoga as essential for a healthy and long life for every individual.
They were addressing the concluding session of a seven-day-long yoga training camp organised by Chhattisgarh Yoga Commission at Yoga Bhavan, VIP Road, Fundhar, Raipur.
During the camp, yoga instructors and experts explained the effects and benefits of daily yoga practice. Dr Dinesh Nag spoke about the relationship and impact of yoga with Ayurveda, while Dr Asha Jain, a specialist in women's health, provided detailed information about the role of yoga during childbirth.
Lachhu Ram Nishad shed light on Yama, Pratyahara, and Dharana, and C.L. Sonwani spoke about ‘Shatkarma’. The Secretary of the Yoga Commission, M.L. Pandey, and other yoga instructors were also present at the occasion.
The session was organised for trainees from the Surguja region. Nearly 130 participants from all districts of the Surguja region participated. It started on July 15.
Indubhavanand Ji Maharaj, Chief Pujari of Shankaracharya Ashram, Boriyakala was the Chief Guest. The Commission had organised similar camps earlier at Raipur, Bilaspur, and Bastar regions.
