CG NEWS: Adarsh Vidyalaya Devendra Nagar holds Investiture Ceremony

RAIPUR: Adarsh Vidyalaya Devendra Nagar organised a grand oath taking ceremony of the School Cabinet for the year 2023-24. 

The school cabinet was introduced to the assembly. The Head boy, the Head girl adorned with sashes and badges by Vinod Pillai (President, Raipur Kerala Samajam) and the various ministers of  Discipline and Sports and the captains and vice-captains of all four Houses (Ashoka, Raman, Shivaji and Tagore) were adorned with sashes and badges by their house masters, and assistant house masters.. The solemn oath was administered to the members, declaring their commitment and loyalty to their duties and responsibilities in the school. They committed to remain the ideal ambassadors of Adarsh Vidyalaya and keep their school flag proudly flying high. 

The house masters congratulated their respective house captains and exhorted them to be ideal light-bearers to their school-mates. They reminded the students that competition is inevitable for survival and also to bring out the best in every person. However, winning or losing is a part of life and must be accepted realistically. Houses are formed to fight a task unitedly. The motto is “Single, one may travel faster, but together we can travel longer”. 

The Chief Guest of the programme, Vinod Pillai, President, Raipur Kerala Samajam motivated the council of students to create a bench-mark and make the school scale newer  heights through various activities in and outside the school.

The Vice-principal, K. K. Unnikrishnan Nair congratulated the students for their spirited participation in the programme. The Principal, Suman Shanbhag wished fruitful activities and wonderful learning experiences throughout the academic year. She believed that the learning experiences in school would certainly aid them to face all situations in life skilfully and successfully.
