RAIPUR: The students of Adarsh Vidyalaya  Devendra Nagar conducted a thought-provoking skit on the theme of Unity in Diversity in order to highlight the strength of India as a nation. Our motherland is the home of several religions, castes, creed, languages, culture, food and dress habits. However, the country remains one with her unity as a nation; the people keep a strong bond of fraternity and brotherhood. This is the core of our strength and a live message for our time. The daily school assembly pledge becomes cemented further with the most beautiful ideal of 'all Indians are our brothers and sisters......' in the tender minds of school children. The beautifully enacted skit and the enthusiastic applause it received from the school assembly is a firm assurance of the future generation that India is and will remain united, despite its diversity. The student-artists also used the medium of colours to drive their ideas home into the spectators. Different shades of colours constitute the enchanting rainbow as people with varied  culture make a capable, complete and determined nation. People love, respect and have concern for each other which is the real strength of this biggest democracy in the world. 

The principal of the school, Ms. Suman Shanbag, the Vice-principal, K.K. Unnikrishnan Nair and the H. M. Mrs. Shobha Pillai congratulated the students and the teachers of class 9 for the motivating skit with unity as a theme. The theme and concept of unity despite differences is a real ray of hope in the modern world of strife and bitter struggles and an answer to many of the ills confronting many societies of the world. Here, cheerfully, the children have become the  ambassadors of unity and peace.
