NTPC LARA observing “Vigilance Awareness Week-2023”

NTPC Lara is observing “Vigilance Awareness Week” from 30th October to 5th November 2023. Under this week various awareness generating activities is organising to make employees, associates and public aware about ill effects of corruption. The week was inaugurated by Chief Guest, S N Jat, Head of the branch, Anti-Corruption Bureau, Central Bureau of Investigation, Raipur, Chhattisgarh in the august presence of Shri Diwakar Kaushik, Executive Director (NTPC Lara) and other General Managers. On this occasion they administered integrity pledge to employees and advocated to adapt free and fair policy and ethical work culture for building a corruption free society. Under this week “National Unity Day” celebrated by organising “Run for Unity” inside Maitree Nagar township. Quiz competition was organised at Kirodimal Govt. Degree College, Raigarh. 

On 1st November 2023, a special lecture session was organised for ladies, which was delivered by Ms. Suresha Choube, Addl. Superintendent of Police, Raigarh on women empowerment and different ways of lodging a police complaint against women atrocities. In the age of internet, how Chhattisgarh police is equipped itself to help the ladies by lodging complaint through website, “Abhivyakti.com”. Besides a seminar was organised on preventive vigilance and Public interest Disclosure and Protection of Informer (PIDPI). Pankaj Shekhar, AGM (Vigilance) described on various ways of preventive vigilance and PIDPI. Special competitions like drawing and painting, speech, poem etc are being organised to educate school children on ill effects of corruption. Besides gram sabha, street play, vendor’s meet will be organised.
