Institute of Public Auditors of India Chhattisgarh Chapter opens

RAIPUR,CG: Chhattisgarh Chapter of Institute of Public Auditors of India (IPAI) was launched on Tuesday by Yashwant Kumar, Principal Accountant General (Audit), Chhattisgarh.

He is also the ex-officio President of IPAI-Chhattisgarh Chapter. Till now the work of Madhya Pradesh and Chhattisgarh was coordinated by Madhya Pradesh Chapter, Bhopal.

The Institute of Public Auditors of India (IPAI) was established in the year 1966 as a society providing specialist services in the areas of public sector accounting, auditing and public finance. This organization providing professional services across the country has 18 regional offices and more than 2,600 members.

The Comptroller and Auditor General of India, Girish Chandra Murmu, ex-officio Patron of IPAI and Dr. Subhash Chandra Pandey (Retd. IAS), former Special Secretary to the Government of India, is the Chairman.

Senior Accounts of Indian Audit and Accounts Service (IAAS), Indian Civil Accounts Service (ICS), Indian Railway Accounts Service (IRAS), Indian Economic Service (IES), Indian Statistical Service (ISS), Indian Audit and Accounts Department the examining officers, serving and retired officers of the Senior Accounts Officer cadre, are members of the Institute of Public Auditors of India (IPAI).
