CG NEWS: Orientation Programme Conducted For Teachers in Adarsh Vidyalaya Group of Schools

RAIPUR,CG: In order to enhance the continuous professional development of teachers, Adarsh Vidyalaya Group of Schools under the aegis of Raipur Kerala Samajam held  orientation programme on 11 th and 12 th June. The resource persons were the experienced  principals, the vice- principals, Head Mistress and the senior teachers of the group. The trainers, by means of their well researched materials and information impressed on the participants the rudimentary as well as the most advanced concepts, methods and techniques to be followed in the classrooms to make the teaching- learning process enjoyable and effective. The programme was inaugurated by Dr. Jacob Sakariah, General Secretary RKS and personally guided and monitored by Mr. T. G. Madhusoodanan, Mrs. Vigi Nair and Dr. Sudhish Kumar, the School Management Committee of RKS.

The first day witnessed the presentation of a number of relevant topics such as - Lesson Plan by Ms. Suman Shanbag, principal, (AVD ) and Mrs. Debarchana Roy, V.P.( AVT), Stress Management by Mr. Unni Krishnan Nair, V.P. (AVD), Child Safety by Mrs. Shobha Pillai ( H M. AVD), Introduction of NEP (360 Degree Holistic Assessment of Students) by Mr. Subhash T.S. (AVT),  Learning Outcomes by Mrs. Sujata Prasad (AVT), Positive Discipline & Respect for Children by Mrs. Payal Yadav ( AVD), Yes I am a Teacher by Mr. B. Vasant ( AVD), Classroom Instructions by Mrs. Smitha Nair ( AVD), and Nipun Bharat Mission for Foundation Literacy & Numeracy by Mrs. Meenoo Dhaurved (AVT).

The second day was graced with serious topics like Positive Discipline & Respect for Children by Mrs. Jasveer Sarkar, principal AIS, Holistic Development of Children by Mrs. Jalaja Pillai, V.P (AVM), Introduction to NCFSE 2023 by Mr. Shivendra Singh, (AVM), Error Analysis of Students' Answer Sheets & Remedial Actions by Mrs. Rani Chamlate ( AIS), Learning Outcomes by Mrs. Binu Nair ( AVM), Classroom Instructions by Ms. Denis (AIS), and School Safety &  Safety Audits of School by Mrs. Kallelu Krishnaveni ( AVM)

The programme ended with the words of appreciation for the confidence, strenuous and hard work of the teacher- resource persons and remarks on their presentation from the School Management Committee. The trainees were enlightened and motivated hugely to take up their teaching works with confidence and enthusiasm and this was visible from their words of thanks expressed at the end.
