RAIPUR,CG,BHARAT: The Chhattisgarh government has renamed two schemes under the Urban Administration Department. As per an official order, the "Rajiv Gandhi Swavalamban Yojana" will now be known as the "Pt. Deendayal Upadhyay Swavalamban Yojana," and the "Rajiv Gandhi Livelihood Centre Scheme" has been renamed the "Pt. Deendayal Upadhyay Livelihood Centre Scheme."
The move continues the political trend of renaming government schemes. After the Congress took power in 2018, it renamed several schemes introduced by the previous BJP government. The BJP, now back in power, has reversed some of those changes.
