CCCI holds workshop on government e-Marketplace GeM Portal

RAIPUR,INDIA: A workshop on the Government e-Marketplace (GeM) Portal was organized on Thursday as part of the Management Development Program at Chamber Bhavan, under the joint aegis of the Chhattisgarh Chamber of Commerce and Industries (CCCI) and the MSME Department.

State President of the Chamber, Amar Parwani, along with General Secretary Ajay Bhasin, Treasurer Uttam Chand Golchha and other office bearers were present at the event. The program featured Praveen Sahu, GeM Portal Expert from the MSME Department, who provided detailed insights into the portal's functionalities.

Management Development Program Convenor and Youth Chamber General Secretary, Kanti Patel, shared that the program was held at Chaudhary Devi Lal Udyog Bhawan. On the third day of the program, the focus was on the GeM portal workshop.

During the workshop, Sahu elaborated on various aspects of the GeM portal, including seller registration, product listing, resolving payment-related issues, product category searches, authorization processes, and L-1 purchase parameters.

The session aimed to equip participants with the necessary skills and knowledge to utilize the GeM portal effectively, fostering growth and efficiency for businesses in the region.
