Board exams in Chhattisgarh to proceed without disruption

RAIPUR,INDIA: With the announcement of urban body and three-tier Panchayat elections in Chhattisgarh, concerns had arisen among students and parents regarding the potential impact on the upcoming board examinations.

However, Pushpa Sahu, Secretary of the Chhattisgarh Board of Secondary Education (BSE), assured that the elections would not interfere with the exams.

Sahu confirmed that all necessary preparations for the board exams have been finalized. The 12th board exams are scheduled to begin on March 1, while the 10th board exams will start on March 3.

Key details shared by the BSE Secretary include distribution of answer sheets and question papers to districts on February 24 and 25, and pre-determined examination centres across the state.

A total of 2,41,000 students registered for the 12th board exams and 3,30,000 students for the 10th.

Deployment of approximately 50,000 teachers and staff for smooth conduct of the exams.

Online training provided to teachers and staff to ensure efficient examination management.

State Election Commission Commissioner Ajay Singh emphasized that special measures have been taken to avoid scheduling conflicts between the elections and the board exams. He assured that the exams would proceed smoothly as planned.
