DANTEWADA,CG,INDIA: An administrative approval of ₹299.85 crore has been granted for the construction of a new government medical college building in Gidam, Dantewada. The approval, sanctioned in a DMF Governing Council meeting, marks a significant step toward enhancing regional healthcare facilities.
For project execution, CGMSC (Chhattisgarh Medical Service Corporation) has been designated as the implementing agency under the Department of Public Health, Family Welfare, and Medical Education. CGMSC will oversee the tendering process, work orders, and timely completion of the project in accordance with state government regulations and PWD guidelines.
Chief Minister Vishnu Deo Sai has emphasized that government schemes must directly benefit the public, with resources being utilized in the best interest of the people. Reflecting the vision, the District Mineral Foundation (DMF) funds are now being directed toward strengthening healthcare infrastructure.
