Amity University Chhattisgarh to host 3rd Convocation 2025 on April 09

RAIPUR,CG,INDIA: Amity University Chhattisgarh is set to host its 3rd Convocation 2025 for the Class of 2024 on April 09, 2025 (Wednesday) from 10.15 am at the Pandit Deendayal Upadhyay Auditorium, Raipur. The grand event will be presided over by Ramen Deka, Governor of Chhattisgarh, with the ceremonial address by Dr. Ashok K. Chauhan, Founder President, Amity Education Group. Dr. Aseem Chauhan, President of RBIEF & Chairman of Amity University Chhattisgarh, will deliver Words of Wisdom, while Dr. W. Selvamurthy, Chancellor, Amity University Chhattisgarh, will address the gathering and perform the Investiture Ceremony. The Convocation Report will be presented by Prof. (Dr.) Piyush Kant Pandey, Vice-Chancellor of Amity University Chhattisgarh.

During the convocation, degrees and medals will be conferred upon 676 undergraduate, postgraduate, and doctoral graduands from various disciplines. The graduating cohort includes 27 students from B.Arch., 30 from BA (Applied Psychology), 7 from BA (Economics), 16 from BA (English), and 20 from BA (Journalism & Mass Communication). The law programs witness 11 LLM, 33 BA LLB, and 24 BBA LLB graduates. Business and commerce disciplines have a significant presence with 184 BBA and 77 B.Com (H) graduands. Additionally, 25 students from BID, 17 from B.Sc. (Biotechnology), 13 from B.Sc. (IT), 15 from B.Tech. (Biotechnology), and 77 from B.Tech. (CSE) will be awarded degrees. The design stream sees 8 B.Des. (Fashion Design) graduates. Postgraduate programs include 1 MA (English), 5 MA (Journalism & Mass Communication), 56 MBA, 9 MCA, and 5 M.Sc. (Biotechnology) students. The convocation will also mark the conferment of doctoral degrees to 16 PhD scholars.

In the convocation several outstanding students will be honored for their exemplary achievements across various domains. The Baljit Shastri Awards will be conferred upon two students for their excellence in upholding human and traditional values. Additionally, one student will be recognized with the Best Allrounder Trophy for his remarkable versatility and overall contributions. Furthermore, 38 students will be awarded Salver Certificates in recognition of their exceptional skills in areas such as interpersonal skills, team spirit, business acumen, technical innovation, strategic thinking, leadership qualities, personality enhancement, organizing abilities, excellence in knowledge creation, and the practice of teaching. The prestigious Dr. Ashok K Chauhan Award, which grants a 100% scholarship, will be awarded to 11 students for their outstanding academic performance and dedication. In acknowledgement of academic excellence, 18 students will receive the Gold Medal, while 15 students will be honored with the Silver Medal, and 6 students will be presented with the Bronze Medal. Additionally, two students will be recognized with Appreciation Certificates for their commendable contributions.

This convocation ceremony will celebrate the academic achievements of students across diverse fields, reinforcing Amity University Chhattisgarh’s commitment to excellence in higher education. The event will be a momentous occasion, honoring the hard work and dedication of students, faculty, and parents alike.
