RAIPUR: A colourful special school assembly was conducted in Adarash Vidyalaya Devendra Nagar as part of Hareli celebration in the school. A prayer song, thought for the day, news, pledge, topic of the day and a special song all in Chhattisgarhi were presented by the students under the guidance of teachers.
The assembly also sang the Chhattisgarh State Song 'Arpa Pairee Ke Dhar'.The students also brought and donated various plants to the school, displaying their sensitivity to the green environment of the school. They also brought in their lunch varieties of Chhattisgarhi delicacies, sharing them joyfully with their peer groups.
Hareli is the special festival of farmers, the generous feeders of all beings. On this auspicious occasion of the festival, they offer their agricultural tools before gods and also pray totheir kuldevata.
The school principal, Miss Suman Shanbag, the Vice principal, Unnikrishnan Nair and H. M. Mrs. Shobha Pillai appreciated all students for their love and commitments towards their state and its culture. They also impressed the assembly on the great need to love and care our environment for our healthy, happy and prosperous future life. Teachers also blessed the students and motivated them to care for the environment as we love ourselves. The earth is the ultimate mother of all humans.
