Mass tree plantation work inaugurated on 7th August 2023 at Village: Pusalda & Kensara in Pussore Tehsil by Diwakar Kaushik, Executive Director (NTPC Lara) in the august presence of Mahesh Patel, CEO, Janpad Panchayat, Pussore, B.S. Sarote, Divisional Manager, Chhattisgarh Rajya Van Vikas Nigam Limited, Sushil Bhoy, President, Janpad Panchayat, Pussore, Smt. Ram Kumari Patel, Sarpanch, Village Pusalda, Ashok Dansena, Sarpanch, Village Kensara and other senior officials of NTPC Lara and Chhattisgarh Rajya Van Vikas Nigam Limited.
This plantation work is being fully sponsored by NTPC Lara and executed by Chhattisgarh Rajya Van Vikas Nigam Limited. The total area is approximately 13 Hectares land in Village Pulsada & Kensara in Pussore Tehsil. The total number of 32000 tree saplings will be planted and Chhattisgarh Rajya Van Vikas Nigam Limited will do the maintenance work for five years. Fruit bearing and other native species shall be given preference in the plantation work. Shri Diwakar Kaushik, Executive Director (NTPC Lara) conveyed that NTPC Lara is always committed towards environment conservation and will continue such efforts in future as well.
