RAIPUR: Government of Chhattisgarh on Wednesday said that 67 minor forest produce produced in state are being purchased at the collection support price and the support price of the Vanopaj Sangh.
38 forest produce are being purchased on support price for minimum support price, states an information provided during the State Level Coordination and Monitoring Committee organized by the Government of India through video conference.
Chief Secretary Amitabh Jain chaired the meeting. The discussion was held for processing of minor forest produce, marketing of herbal forest products and establishment of forest produce based industries.
The other issues including production and processing of millet crops produced in the state were discussed in detail.
PCCF V. Srinivasa Rao, Managing Director of State Minor Forest Produce Association, Anil Rai were present.
