Indian Space Research Organisation has informed that the Chandrayaan-3's Vikram lander is expected to undergo a crucial deboosting manoeuvre today at around 4 pm. Deboosting is the process of slowing down to position itself in an orbit near to the moon. The lander was successfully separated from the propulsion module yesterday. It marked the completion of the lunar-bound maneuvers ahead of the soft landing. The lander and rover are expected to land on the Moon on 23 of this month.
