RAIPUR: Chhattisgarh Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel on Monday said the state government has taken practical decisions to benefit the people leading to boom in every sector.
He was addressing the STATCON-2023 organized by Confederation of Real Estate Developers' Associations of India (CREDAI) on the theme of ‘Growing Chhattisgarh’ in Nava Raipur. He was honoured on the occasion for the decisions to revive the real estate sector from recession.
He launched the CREDAI Chhattisgarh App. He also installed the youth wing of CREDAI at Bhilai, Durg and Bilaspur. Housing and Environment Minister Mohammad Akbar was also present.
Baghel said the state government has put 1.60 lakh crore in the pockets of the people of the state through various schemes. With money in the hands of the people, there has been a boom in every sector.
The state was first to resume work in industries and factories in the entire country. No cut in the salary of government officials and employees was done like other states. Every class of people had money, thus an increase in business and trade in every sector. The real estate sector also got its benefit, he said.
He said reduction in the guideline rates of land by 30 percent and removal of restriction from registry of small plots boosted the revenue also.
He said that the work of Aero City and Whole-Sale Corridor will start soon in Raipur, which will strengthen trade and business.
He also spoke on preparing guidelines for real estate for rural areas like urban areas.
CREDAI's National President Manoj Gaur said that the single window clearance system started for colonizers and developers has speeded up the proceedings related to it. The work has started getting done smoothly.
