Raipur, CG: Bharatiya Janata Party candidate Brijmohan Agrawal, candidate from Raipur City South seat in political rivalry defeated Congress candidate Dr. Mahant Ramsundar Das by 67719 votes.
On Friday, Brijmohan Aggarwal reached Dudhdhari Math to meet his rival Mahant Ramsundar Das. During this, he welcomed Rajeshree Mahant with shreefal and shawl and touched his feet and took blessings.
Such cordiality between rival candidates is rarely seen in today's political society. Brijmohan Aggarwal always says that there can be political differences but one should never have political differences with anyone. Dissent always takes a person down.
Such cordial relations have existed between Mahant Ramsundar Das and Brijmohan Aggarwal for three decades. Before him, Brahmlin Mahant Lakshmi Narayan Das of Doodhadhari Math also had a good relationship with Brijmohan Agarwal and his father Ramjilal Agarwal had similar guru-disciple relations.
In the Chhattisgarh Assembly elections 2023, held on November 7 and 17th, BJP has won 54 out of 90 assembly seats and is going to form its government in the state.
