Raipur, CG: Prime Minister Narendra Modi having arrived to attend the swearing-in ceremony on Wednesday, reached both sides of the main stage to accept the greetings of the people of the state after taking the oath.
During this, PM Modi shook hands and accepted greetings from Chhattisgarh’s former CM Bhupesh Baghel.
Earlier, Vishnu Deo Sai took the oath of office and secrecy as the Chief Minister of Chhattisgarh. Governor Biswabhusan Harichandan administered the oath. Arun Sao and Vijay Sharma also took oath as Deputy Chief Ministers.
Former CM Baghel's tweet states– “Congratulations and best wishes to Vishnu Deo Sai, Deputy Chief Ministers Arun Sao and Vijay Sharma on taking oath as Chief Minister of Chhattisgarh state. I hope that you will carry forward the journey of public welfare and empowerment started by the Congress government.”
Former Deputy CM T Singh Deo was also present.
