Raipur, CG: Chhattisgarh government has decided to implement National General Document Registration System (NGDRS) in a phased manner in place of e-registration software in all the registration offices of the state.
Under which NGDRS will be installed in all registration offices before March 2024. The software will be implemented compulsorily.
NGDRS as a pilot project in Chhattisgarh. The software was launched in three registration offices Abhanpur, Mahasamund and Dhamtari. After the end of the BOT period of the e-registration system, now it will be available in all the registration offices.
The work of implementing the software is being done at a rapid pace. All the preliminary preparations are being done by the Registration Department, in which along with the arrangement of hardware devices, network lines, training is being given to the departmental officers and employees.
During the pilot run of the NGDRS system, more than 45,000 documents have been registered so far in three registration offices.
In the second phase, it was implemented in the registration offices of Saraipali, Basna, Pithora, Kurud and Nagari of Dhamtari and Mahasamund districts from January 11, 2024. Soon the NGDRS system is to be implemented in the busiest Raipur Registration Office of the state.
To make the registration system more effective and convenient by the Government of India, NIC. A Common Generic Software (NGDRS) has been developed through Pune. This software is customized as per the requirement of the states and implemented through NIC.
