Amity University to host Bootcamp from April 29

RAIPUR,CG: Amity University Chhattisgarh will host the Union Ministry of Education's Innovation Cell (MIC) and the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) the third phase of the Innovation, Design, and Entrepreneurship (IDE) Bootcamp from April 29 to May 03, 2024.

Addressing the media, Amity University Vice Chancellor Professor Piyush Kant Pandey said “Innovation is not just about new ideas; it is about transforming these ideas into practical solutions that can significantly impact our society and economy. As we host the IDE Bootcamp here at Amity University Chhattisgarh, we are not just nurturing future entrepreneurs and innovators; we are empowering them to be pioneers of change who can tackle real-world challenges. It is our mission to support and guide these bright minds in their journey from ideation to execution, fostering an ecosystem where sustainable and impactful startups flourish. Being one of the only nine institutions selected across India is a testament to our unwavering dedication to excellence in education and entrepreneurship."

We are incredibly proud and excited to be a part of this monumental initiative, added Professor Pandey. "It underscores our role in shaping a future where innovation and entrepreneurship are key drivers of our nation's development,” he said.

Prof. (Dr) M.K. Verma, Vice Chancellor of Chhattisgarh Swami Vivekanand Technical University, Bhilai (C.G) will inaugurate the event while Dr. Girish Chandel, Vice Chancellor of Indira Gandhi Krishi Vishwavidyalaya will be chief guest of valedictory function, said Dr Pandey.

Professor Roshan Mathew, Vice President IIC Amity University Chhattisgarh, added, “Hosting the IDE Bootcamp is a prestigious honour and a testament to our commitment to fostering a culture of innovation. We are poised to inspire and nurture the brightest minds to build solutions that can address some of the most pressing challenges of our time."

He said student participants across the country will participate with special teams from Jammu and Kashmir and Ladakh. All arrangements of food and stay are being made at the university premises.
