RAIPUR,CG: On every ‘Pushya Nakshatra Tithi’, ‘Swarnaprashan’ is administered to the children aged between 0 to 16 years by the Kaumarbhritya Department of Ayurveda College Hospital. On Tuesday, 1,256 children were covered.
It is administered at Government Ayurveda College Hospital, Raipur to improve their ability to cure, digesting power, memory power, physical strength and prevent diseases. Dr. Lavkesh Chandravanshi also examined the health of the children.
Suvarnaprashan coordinator Dr. Lavkesh Chandravanshi said that it is beneficial for the all-round development of children. The postgraduate and undergraduate students of the college make important contributions every month. On other Pushya Nakshatra dates of the year, 1,235 children in January, 1,420 in February, 1,720 on 1 March and 1,410 children were given on April 16 by Ayurveda College Hospital.
