CG NEWS: 96.35 percent students clear Sanskrit School exams

RAIPUR,CG: Secretary of Chhattisgarh Sanskrit Vidyamandalam Alka Dani released the results of 10th and 12th board exams at the office of the Sanskrit Vidyamandalam in the state capital, Raipur on Wednesday.

96.35 per cent students passed in the exams.

Total 3,504 students including 2,090 boys and 1,414 girls were enrolled for the exams (from 9th to 12th exams).

44 examination centres were set up in the state for the main exams.

3,196 students appeared in the exams, in which 1,891 boys and 1,305 girls passed in the exams.

98.48 per cent students passed in Purva Madhya Dwatiya Varsh (10th). 801 students including 503 boys and 298 girls were enrolled for the 10th exam, in which 777 students including 486 boys and 291 girls passed in the exam. 470 students obtained first position, 284 students secured second position and 23 students obtained third position. The results of seven students have been placed under supplementary category and five students failed in the exam.

Chandrabhagat Kashyap, a student of Goswami Ramratan Sanskrit Higher Secondary School Jarve Janjgir-Champa, secured first position in 10th exam.

98.43 per cent students passed in Uttar Madhyama Dwatiy Varsh (12th exam). 589 students including 333 boys and 256 girls were enrolled for 12th exam.

565 students including 317 boys and 248 girls passed in the exam.

462 students obtained first position, 96 students secured second rank and seven students obtained third rank.

Nine students have been placed under supplementary category.

Yamini Bhagat, a student of Shri Rameshwar Gahira Guru Sanskrit Higher Secondary School Srikot Balrampur, topped in the 12th exam.

Secretary Alka Dani said that the officers and employees of the Sanskrit Vidyamandalam have made invaluable support in declaring the results of the board's main examination 2024. 

“I congratulate and best wishes all the successful candidates and wish them a bright future,” she added.

Those candidates, who have failed in the exams, should not be disappointed, because failure is the stepping stone to success. Keeping this in mind, if you work hard again and appear in the examination, you will definitely get success, said the Secretary.

Principal of Shri Dudhadhari Vaishnav Sanskrit Vidyalay Dr Toynidhi Vaishnav, Principal of Arshjyoti Gurukul Sanskrit Vidyalay Mukesh Ahir, In-charge Principal of Rambandra Sanskrit Vidyalaya Dr Rajesh Tiwari and others were present.
