Pussore,CG: Under the observance of Swacchata Pakhwada (Cleanliness Fortnight) from 16th to 31st May 2024, at NTPC Lara a cleaning drive was organised at nearby village Chhapora Primary school on 17th May 2024. Large number of employees in association with villagers cleaned the school compound. The fortnight kick-started on 16th May 2024 with administration of swacchata pledge by Head of Project, Akhilesh Singh to employees. As per guidelines received, Swacchata Pakhwada is being celebrated from 16th to 31st May 2024 across the nation. During this period various cleaning activities like shramdan by employees, associates and public. To sensitize the public, awareness campaigns will be carried out for a clean and hygienic surrounding as well as to develop clean culture in their day-to-day activity. Various competitions will be organised among employees, housewives and children, to educate them about the importance of cleanliness and hygiene for a healthy lifestyle.
On this occasion Rajeev Rajan, General Manager (Operation & Maintenance), Jakir Khan, AGM (HR), HoDs and employees were present.
