Mahasamund Collector honours meritorious students with laptop, certificate

MAHASAMUND,CG: Mahasamund Collector Prabhat Malik honoured five students of Chhattisgarh Board of Secondary Education of class 10th and 12th by giving them laptop and certificate for making it to the top 10 in the merit list.

The Collector said that to achieve any destination one has to work hard. Challenges also arise during this period. All do not have to be afraid of challenges. Whatever the goal is, it has to be achieved.

He wished the students all the best for studying with hard work and dedication and achieving better exam results in the future. He inquired about the further studies of the children and said that first of all they should study well at the college level.

Students spoke of going into banking, medical and civil services. The collector shared his UPSC preparation and gave guidance.

In the results of class 10th examination-2024, four students of Mahasamund district got a position in the top 10. Among these, Prerna Sahu, a student of Sages English School, Nayapara Mahasamund, has secured seventh position, Riya Sahu, student of Government Higher Secondary School, Torresingha, and Denisha Pradhan, student of Eklavya English School, Arjunda Saraipali, secured 9th position by securing 97.33 percent marks and Tejas Nayak, student of Government Higher Secondary School, Chhibra, secured 10th position in the state by securing 97.17 percent marks.

In the class 12th board examination, Mehak Aggarwal, a student of Ewas Woodland English School Saraipali from Mahasamund district, has secured first position in the state by securing 97.40 percent marks.
