RAIPUR,CG: Chhattisgarh Finance Minister O P Choudhary on Monday approved Rs 79.19 crore for 17 colleges across the state.
Choudhary said it would fund the commitment to enhance the quality, equity, and standard of educational facilities—an important initiative for the future prospects of the state's youth. The allocated funds will be utilized to expand educational services and ensure the delivery of quality education. The move will also enable the youth of the state to access the latest advancements and expertise.
The approved amount includes funding for colleges in both plain areas and the tribal-dominated regions of Bastar and Surguja. The colleges include Government College Samoda (Raipur), Government College Mopka-Nipania (Balodabazar-Bhatapara), Government College Pirda (Mahasamund), Government College Thelkadih (Rajnandgaon), Government College Baramkela (Raigarh), Government College Nagarda (Janjgir-Champa), Government College Sakri (Bilaspur), Government College Saragaon (Janjgir-Champa), and Government College Basin (Balod), among others.
