CG NEWS: Children are like wet clay: CM

JASHPUR,CG: Children are true at heart and they are just like wet clay. One can shape them into whatever shape, said Chhattisgarh Chief Minister Vishnu Deo Sai on Friday.

He was interacting with children at the state level school entrance festival while trying his hands on the potter’s wheel at village Bagiya. He was accompanied by his wife Kaushalya Devi Sai.

Like wet clay, children are also soft and can be moulded into any shape. By making a lamp, he also tried to explain the usefulness of the lamp in removing darkness.

Sai inspected each stall set up at the venue of the program in Bagiya. Seeing the models and materials prepared by the children, he appreciated them.

Stalls of different departments were set up where the model of promoting scientific innovation among children by the School Education Department, prevention of diarrhoea by the Health Department, teaching in Eklavya Residential School by the Tribal Development Department and the facilities provided to tribal children, livelihood course by Livelihood College Navgurukul. In the stall, students of PMShree Primary School Lavakera presented patriotic tunes from the band. The children of Government Girls Ashram Garden, PMShree Vidyalaya Kansabel, PMShree Vidyalaya Kadrega attracted the attention of the Chief Minister with the model prepared in the school, which promoted scientific thinking and logic.

Students Ms. Anamika, Samista Toppo, Deepika Singh, Drishti Sai, Anushka Toppo told about the magical box and other presented materials. The students of Government Girls Pre-Secondary School Pathalgaon informed the Chief Minister through skill boxes, sports material, magic box and bio gas model.

Students of Government Higher Secondary School Charai Dand were given information about drip irrigation and while mushroom production by Government Pre-Secondary School Gamhariya. Information about materials under bamboo art and clay art was also given in the stall.
