RAIPUR,CG: Reeba Benny Doughter of Mrs Reena and Mr Benny Jacob member of Mar Thoma Church, Raipur has been selected to represent our country in the Common Wealth Junior & cadet Fencing championship to be held in Christ Church, New Zealand from 12th July to 19th July 2024.
She is presently studying in the Govt. Girls Higher Secondary school, Thalasherry, Kerala selected by Khelo India program for coaching.
She in the individual performance in fencing has won Silver medal in the tournament organised by Khelo India ranking tournament held at New Delhi and Bronze medal in Khelo India women's league held in March 2024 in Chennai.
She in the team events has also won Silver medal in the National games held in Goa in October 2023, won Silver medal in Cadet National held in Mehsana, Gujrat in December 2023 and Silver medal in the Khelo India youth games in January 2024.
Her dedication,commitment and hard work from her childhood in fencing is paying her dividends.
