Government stands with Bullion Association: Sao

RAIPUR,CG: Chhattisgarh Deputy Chief Minister Arun Sao on Wednesday congratulating the newly elected officials of Bullion Association, said that the government is standing with the association at every step in the development of bullion business in the state.

He was addressing the swearing-in and blessing ceremony of the newly elected office bearers of Chhattisgarh Sarafa Association. He launched the web portal and QR code of the association in a function organized at Pandit Deendayal Upadhyay Auditorium located in the Science College campus, Raipur.

Sunil Otwani, Advocate at Bilaspur High Court and Executive Member of Bar Council of India, administered the oath to the newly elected President, General Secretary and Treasurer.

Sao as chief guest hoped that the newly elected officials of the association will work to unite the bullion traders across the state under their leadership. Along with protecting the interests of bullion traders, they hope that important work of social service will be done.

Raipur MP Brijmohan Aggarwal said that the bullion business is an indicator of the progress of a state. The growth of bullion business is a symbol of the progress of the state. Bullion shops, which were earlier limited to a particular area, are now expanding in different areas and markets of the city. In the last 24 years, the bullion business in Chhattisgarh has increased almost a hundred times.

MLA Amar Aggarwal said that after Chhattisgarh became a separate state, have seen the social and economic progress here. New bullion shops are opening rapidly in the state, which shows that the purchasing power of the people here is continuously increasing.

Sunil Otwani, Advocate at Bilaspur High Court and Executive Member of Bar Council of India, Kamal Soni, newly elected President of Chhattisgarh Bullion Association and Treasurer Harsh Vardhan Jain also addressed the function.
