RAIPUR,CG: Chhattisgarh Police on Wednesday claimed that during interrogation of gangster Amandeep Valmiki alias Ammu, arrested from Sirsa, Haryana in connection with the firing in Telibandha of the capital has revealed the names of two shooters.
The Amandeep had revealed that Rs 1 lakh were given in the accounts of both the shooters before the incident. The amount was deposited in Shahid Ali’s bank account. The names of both the absconding shooters have emerged in the bank accounts.
Police have so far arrested six criminals involved. A team is in search for both the shooters. The police have claimed to arrest them soon. Gangster Amandeep Valmiki alias Ammu along with Laxman Das Baazigar, Ravi Kumar Sen are being taken on remand. All three accused have been arrested from Sirsa, Haryana and brought to Raipur on transit remand.
In the Raipur firing case, the police have so far got the names of 6 accused and 2 absconding shooters. It has revealed that most of the people involved in crime do not know each other. The shooters had come together and the two people who arranged the bike-pistol were together. Rest all are gangsters from different places. Among them is Amandeep Valmiki, whom Chhattisgarh Police has faced difficulty in arresting and bringing here, especially in Haryana.
