RAIPUR: Chhattisgarh State Gazetted Officers Association has decided to fully support the movement ‘Jhan Kar Inkar, Hamar Sunav Sarkar’ under the banner of Chhattisgarh Staff Officer Federation.

State President of Chhattisgarh State Gazetted Officers Association, Mr. Kamal Verma and spokesperson Mr. Balmukund Tamboli in a statement said that on August 6, 2024, officers posted in the Directorate will participate in the torch rally organized from 2 pm from Indravati Bhawan (Directorate) to Mahanadi Bhawan (Ministry). All gazetted officers will participate in it.

Verma said that the government is depriving its officers the fundamental right of dearness allowance. The officers are key to the implementation of government schemes and work on ground. The officers have resentment as it has not yet provided the DA at par with the Central Government. The attention was brought before the government through a memorandum, but even after 6 months, no action has been taken by the government to solve the problems. Therefore, all the gazetted officers of the state will support the four-level movement of the Federation.

Tamboli said that in the first phase, torch rally demonstration from Indravati Bhawan to Mahanadi Bhawan on 6th August, in the second phase, memorandum to MPs and MLAs from 20th to 30th August, in the third phase on 11th September, district/ Torch rallies will be organized in the blocks/tehsils and in the fourth phase, protests will be organized in the districts on 27th September on collective holiday.
