NTPC LARA: With an aim of promoting health seeking behavior among female workers & Housemaids, Prerita Mahila Samiti, NTPC Lara took a robust initiative and organized a Health sensitization programme- “Swasthya Aur Shareerik Jagrukta Karyakaram”. The program was organized in the presence of Chief Guest, Mrs. Anuradha Sharma , President, Prerita Mahila Samiti- NTPC Lara. Mrs. Archana Shankar (Welfare In charge, Prerita Mahila Samiti- NTPC Lara) and Members of Ladies club were present. During the programme, Dr. Kalpana Tayade, Chief Medical Officer, NTPC - Lara shared detailed information about the importance of being healthy and fit, Menstrual health and Hygiene along with other relevant topics related to health aspects of ladies.
Chief Guest Mrs. Anuradha Sharma (President, Prerita Mahila Samiti)- NTPC Lara also shared her thoughts on the importance of health and wellbeing and motivated all the female workers to share the gained information with other ladies of the community to ensure women empowerment.
After the session, Hygiene Kit along with safety Aprons were distributed amongst the participants as a motivational step towards maintaining health and Hygiene.
