Kalinga University Naya Raipur Celebrates Teachers' Day with Enthusiasm and Fun

RAIPUR,CG: Kalinga University Naya Raipur celebrated Teachers' Day with great zeal at the University Auditorium on Thursday, 5th September, in honor of the birth anniversary of Dr. Sarvapalli Radhakrishnan, an esteemed philosopher and former President of India. The event was graced by dignitaries who were welcomed with potted plants, followed by the ceremonial lamp lighting.The welcome address was delivered by Dr. Sandeep Gandhi, Registrar of Kalinga University, who set the tone for a day filled with joyous celebrations. Dr. Gandhi also conducted a quiz competition based on the life of Dr. Sarvapalli Radhakrishnan, in which teachers enthusiastically participated. The winners of the quiz were awarded prizes, adding a competitive yet fun spirit to the occasion.The celebrations saw teachers reciting beautiful poems in both English and Hindi, showcasing their literary talents. Engaging games like 'Passing the Parcel' and a 'Gift Wrapping' competition with tied hands were played, involving all the teachers and heads of departments, which brought a wave of laughter and enjoyment among the participants.Adding to the entertainment, teachers presented mesmerizing songs that captivated the audience, and everyone grooved to the beats of the Disc Jockey (DJ), making the event lively and memorable. The auditorium was filled to capacity, and the event turned out to be a truly memorable experience for all the faculties and lab attendants of Kalinga University.The vibrant celebrations were a testament to the appreciation and gratitude expressed towards the teaching fraternity, making Teachers' Day 2024 a remarkable and unforgettable event at Kalinga University.  Event was successfully organised by Registrar and Dean of Students’ Welfare Lt. Vibha Chandrakar and team.
