RAIPUR,CG,INDIA: Congress’ ‘Chhattisgarh Nyay Yatra’ has begun from Giraudpuri Dham of Balodabazar district on Friday to register protest against the deteriorating law and order situation in the state.
State Congress President Deepak Baij, Congress Legislative Party (CLP) leader, former Deputy Chief Minister T S Singhdeo and other leaders and workers in large number participated in the Nyay Yatra on the first day.
The Congress leaders alleged that the law and order situation in the state has totally crippled in the BJP rule.
Earlier, Baij and other Congress leaders performed pooja-archana of Bhagwan Ram and Mata Shabari at Shivari Narayan. Baij also visited Guru Gaddi at Giraudpuri Dham.
The State Congress President also garlanded the statue of Shaheed Veer Narayan Singh at Sona Khan.
Congress party is taking out “Chhattisgarh Nyay Yatra” from Giraudpuri, the birthplace of Baba Guru Ghasidas, to Raipur. The Nyay Yatra will conclude on October 2 at Gandhi Maidan Raipur.
The Nyay Yatra will cover around 125 kilometers distance from Giraudpuri to Raipur. A grand public meeting will be held at Gandhi Maidan Raipur.
