Chhattisgarh records 11592 mm rainfall

RAIPUR,CG,BHARAT: Chhattisgarh state level control room operated by the Revenue and Disaster Management Department of the State Government, data points out that an average rainfall of 1159.2 mm has been recorded in the state since June 1, 2024. According to the rainfall recorded in various districts of the state from June 1, 2024 till Monday (September 30) morning, the highest average rainfall has been recorded in Bijapur district of 2377.7 mm and the lowest in Bemetara district of 606.4 mm.

From June 1 till now, the average rainfall is 634.5 mm in Surguja district, 1160.8 mm in Surajpur, 1731.2 mm in Balrampur, 1064.1 mm in Jashpur, 1127.4 mm in Korea, 1088.7 mm in Manendragarh-Chirmiri-Bharatpur. Rain was recorded.

Similarly, 954.4 mm in Raipur district, 1188.3 mm in Balodabazar, 1099.9 mm in Gariaband, 969.6 mm in Mahasamund, 1035.5 mm in Dhamtari, 991.2 mm in Bilaspur, 1115.3 mm in Mungeli, 1109.0 mm in Raigarh, 734.4 mm in Sarangarh-Bilaigarh. Average rainfall was recorded at 1234.4 mm in Janjgir-Champa, 1062.0 mm in Sakti, 1417.0 mm in Korba, 1207.5 mm in Gaurela-Pendra-Marwahi, 655.0 mm in Durg. Average rainfall of 1448.6 mm was recorded in Narayanpur, 1515.3 mm in Dantewada and 1673.3 mm in Sukma district from June 1 till now.
