RAIPUR,CG,BHARAT: Odisha’s Food Suppliers, Consumer Welfare, Science and Technology Minister Krishna Chandra Patra met with Chhattisgarh's Forest, Climate Change, Water Resources, and Cooperation Minister Kedar Kashyap at his residence in Raipur on Tuesday.
Minister Kashyap honored his Odisha counterpart by presenting him with a shawl and memento. The two ministers discussed various public-interest schemes being implemented in Chhattisgarh. Minister Kashyap highlighted efforts to improve forest conservation, environmental sustainability, and boost irrigation and cooperation.
Minister Patra praised Chhattisgarh's initiatives, particularly the Krishak Unnati Yojana, aimed at enhancing agriculture under the leadership of Chief Minister Vishnu Dev, as well as the Mahtari Vandan Yojana, which supports women. He also lauded the successful implementation of the Janman Yojana, noting its positive impact on tribal communities in backward areas.
