RAIPUR,CG,BHARAT: To honour the legacy of the great Indian mathematician Srinivasa Ramanujan, National Mathematics Day 2024 was celebrated by the District Education Office in collaboration with Chhattisgarh Council of Science and Technology (CGCOST) at J. R. Dani Government Higher Secondary School Raipur.
The programme aimed to invite the students of high school and higher secondary from various state government schools of Raipur district to showcase their talent in the subject. District Education Officer (DEO) Raipur Dr Vijay Khandelwal, Dr Patle addressed the event. Soma Banik, CGCOST District Co-ordinator with a team of skilful teachers successfully conducted the event. Various activities like model making, poster making, Rangoli making and quiz were organized. Along with this, special lectures were conducted by Dr Govind Prasad, Assistant Professor Centre for Basic Science, PRSU. To acknowledge the hard work and encourage participation, program ended with prize distribution.
