Nine health centres in Chhattisgarh gets NQAS

RAIPUR: Nine health institutions across Chhattisgarh have been awarded the prestigious National Quality Assurance Standard (NQAS) certification by the Union Ministry of Health and Family Welfare.

The certified institutions, located in Janjgir Champa, Surajpur, Mahasamund, Durg, and Bilaspur districts, achieved impressive scores during evaluations conducted in November and December. The assessments considered service quality, patient rights, clinical care, infection control, and other critical parameters.

At Surajpur district Ayushman Arogya Mandir Primary Health Centre Chungri scored 86.65%, Sub Health Centre Pakni 86.43%, Palda 84.11%, and Jajawal 80.44%.

At Janjgir Champa district, the Primary Health Centre Tilai and Ayushman Arogya Mandir Sub Health Centre Sukulpara both achieved 88.22% and 88.57%, respectively.

Sub Health Centre Sonasilli earned 87.32% of Mahasamund district, followed by Sub Health Centre Kodia scored 82.50% of Durg District. The other one is of Bilaspur district’s Ayushman Arogya Mandir Sub Health Centre Lufa which received 83.83%.

Health Minister Shyam Bihari Jaiswal congratulated the medical teams, praising their commitment to excellence. “Under the leadership of Chief Minister Vishnu Deo Sai, Chhattisgarh continues to expand its healthcare infrastructure. These hospitals have set a benchmark for quality and will inspire others across the state,” he stated.

The certification process, carried out by the Union Health Ministry, involved rigorous evaluation and direct feedback from patients.
