Lord Ram resides in every particle of Chhattisgarh

Janjgir-Champa: Development works bonanza

JANJGIR-CHAMPA,INDIA: Chhattisgarh Chief Minister Vishnu Deo Sai emphasized the cultural and spiritual significance of Chhattisgarh, stating, "Lord Shri Ram resides in every particle of our land."

Speaking at the inauguration and bhoomi pujan ceremony in Janjgir-Champa, he highlighted the region's spiritual heritage, including Rajim, known as the "Prayag of Chhattisgarh," and Kharaud, called the "Kashi of Chhattisgarh".

The Chief Minister reflected on the emotional moments during the consecration of Shri Ram Lalla in Ayodhya Dham by Prime Minister Narendra Modi, paying tribute to Mata Shabari’s devotion. He noted the launch of the Shri Ramlala Ayodhya Dham Darshan Scheme, which has facilitated over 20,000 devotees’ visits to Ayodhya and Kashidham.

Sai underscored the government’s efforts to transform Chhattisgarh, aided by the "double-engine government". He highlighted initiatives like housing for 18 lakh families under PM Awas Yojana and infrastructure improvements in railways and roads. During the event, he inaugurated and performed bhoomi pujan for 285 development projects worth ₹183.41 crore.

It includes, launch of project Saksham and Bahini brand for Bihaan group products, introduction of free ITI telecom training and computer installations in 10 schools under ICICI Mission DG Saksham, a mass marriage ceremony, and blessing 57 newlywed couples under the Chief Minister Kanya Vivah Yojana.

The Chief Minister pledged that at a purchase rate of ₹3,100 per quintal for paddy and payment of ₹3,716 crore in outstanding paddy bonuses to over 13 lakh farmers. Under the Mahtari Vandan Yojana, ₹1,000 is credited monthly to over 70 lakh women, with the 11th installment recently disbursed. He also raised the tendu leaf remuneration for tribals from ₹4,000 to ₹5,500.

Sai reiterated the government’s commitment to good governance, anti-corruption measures, and empowering citizens, ensuring progress and pride for Chhattisgarh.
