BJP to launch “Constitution Pride Campaign” from January 11 to 25

RAIPUR,INDIA: The Chhattisgarh Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) is set to organize the “Samvidhan Gaurav Abhiyan” (Constitution Pride Campaign) from January 11 to 25, commemorating the 75th anniversary of the Indian Constitution. Preparations are underway nationwide, including in Chhattisgarh, where a state-level committee has been formed to ensure the campaign’s success.

Former Leader of Opposition Narayan Chandel has been appointed as the campaign coordinator. BJP MLA Guru Khushwant Saheb will serve as co-coordinator. Committee members include Neelkanth Tekam, SC Morcha State President Naveen Markandey, and Kiran Baghel.

A preliminary meeting of the committee was held to discuss campaign preparations. A detailed meeting on January 9 will finalize the state-level action plan.

50 state capitals and key centres will host seminars titled ‘Our Constitution-Our Self-Respect’, addressed by central ministers and BJP leaders.

Schools, colleges, and universities will organize quizzes, essays, and speech contests on the theme ‘Our Constitution, Our Self-Respect’.

The BJP Yuva Morcha will promote the contributions of Bharat Ratna Dr. B.R. Ambedkar and BJP’s constitutional commitments among youth through outreach programs in Scheduled Caste hostels and colleges.

Rallies, public meetings, and special events in Scheduled Caste-dominated districts.

On January 25, BJP workers and the public will gather in all divisions to read the Preamble and Directive Principles of the Constitution and discuss their significance.

BJP State General Secretary Jagdish Rohra highlighted that Constitution Day was first celebrated in 2015 under Prime Minister Narendra Modi. Since then, the Constitution has been honoured annually, emphasizing its sacredness and significance. The BJP also recognizes the contributions of Dr. Ambedkar through initiatives like the Panchatirtha and various welfare schemes.
