RAIPUR,INDIA: REC Limited, a Maharatna Central Public Sector Enterprise (CPSE) under the Ministry of Power, has signed a Memorandum of Agreement (MoA) with the District Health Society (DHS) Raipur to upgrade health services in the district. Under its Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) initiative, REC Limited has committed ₹2.01 crore to procure essential medical equipment for three Community Health Centres (CHCs) and the District Hospital in Raipur.
The agreement, signed by Dr. Mithilesh Chaudhary, Chief Medical and Health Officer of Raipur, and Pradeep Fellow, Executive Director of CSR at REC Limited, aims to enhance healthcare delivery in the region.
The initiative focuses on improving the quality and accessibility of healthcare services, particularly for underprivileged and vulnerable populations. The upgraded facilities will help ensure timely and effective treatment for patients, contributing to better overall healthcare outcomes in Raipur district. The project will be implemented by the District Health Department.
