RAIPUR,INDIA: Dr. Arvind Neral, the senior-most medical teacher in Chhattisgarh, has been honored with the 'Lifetime Achievement Award' for his outstanding contributions to medical education and services. The award was presented during the Republic Day felicitation ceremony at Pt. J. Nehru Smriti Medical College, Raipur.
Dr. Neral has served in the fields of Pathology, Microbiology, and Forensic Medicine for the past 41 years, mentoring generations of medical students.
For the first time in the college’s history, under the leadership of Dean Dr. Vivek Chaudhary, medical teachers, technical staff, clerical workers, nursing staff, and fourth-class employees were recognized for their dedicated service. Dr. Chaudhary was also honored for his progressive and commendable leadership.
Other medical teachers awarded mementos for their exceptional work include Dr. Jagriti Agarwal, Dr. Praveen Kumar Kurre, Dr. Sumit Tripathi, Dr. Ram Sharan Shah, Dr. Roshni Pillai, Dr. Nagendra Singh Sonawani, Dr. Jitendra Tiwari, and Dr. Anil Baghel, among others. The ceremony took place at the Atal Bihari Vajpayee Auditorium following the Republic Day flag hoisting.
