CG: Sweet Jeevardhan Bhai's tongue, his behaviour than tea: CM

RAIGARH/RAIPUR: Chhattisgarh Chief Minister Vishnu Deo Sai visited the tea shop of Jeevardhan Chauhan, the BJP mayor candidate for Raigarh Municipal Corporation, during his urban body election campaign on Wednesday.

Not only did the CM make tea himself, but he also enjoyed it with the public, sharing the moment with workers and supporters. CM Sai praised Jeevardhan’s “sweet tongue and behaviour,” noting that his qualities were even more impressive than the tea itself.

CM Sai, accompanied by Finance Minister OP Chaudhary and other party workers, conducted a roadshow covering over five kilometres in Raigarh, where a large crowd gathered. The surprise came when the CM started preparing tea at Jeevardhan’s shop at Minimata Chowk, a gesture he said showed respect for the hard work of ordinary workers, something the Bharatiya Janata Party values deeply.

Reflecting on the significance of hard work, CM Sai drew a parallel with Prime Minister Narendra Modi, who, having once sold tea, is now the world’s most popular leader. He expressed confidence that, with the public’s blessings, Jeevardhan Chauhan would also become the mayor of Raigarh, leading the area to all-round development.

CM Sai also recalled his experience of working with Jeevardhan during his four terms as MP. Over the years, he observed Jeevardhan’s dedication to serving the people of the region. With a strong youth team behind him, CM Sai believes Jeevardhan’s victory will usher in a new era of development for Raigarh Municipal Corporation.
