CG: Need for stress-free exam preparations: CM

RAIPUR,INDIA: Chhattisgarh Chief Minister Vishnu Deo Sai on Monday emphasized the importance of stress-free exam preparation and praised the Prime Minister’s initiative for guiding students and parents alike.

He was addressing the ‘Pariksha Pe Charcha’ event at Pandit Deendayal Upadhyay Auditorium in Raipur, where he joined students in listening to Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s interactive session.

The Chief Minister highlighted that ‘Pariksha Pe Charcha’ has been instrumental in helping students manage exam-related stress for the past eight years. He noted that while students put in a year of hard work, anxiety often builds up during exams. The Prime Minister’s interaction provides valuable insights, including personal experiences and success strategies, which help both students and parents approach exams with a positive mindset.

CM Sai urged parents to focus on motivating their children rather than imposing pressure. He echoed the Prime Minister’s advice on setting small, achievable goals, maintaining a balanced diet, getting proper sleep, and staying mentally calm. He also stressed the benefits of sun exposure for overall well-being.

Sharing his personal academic journey, CM Sai recalled his early education in his village and the challenges he faced after losing his father. Despite hardships, he remained committed to his studies and took pride in his exceptionally neat handwriting, which his teachers admired. Encouraging students, he reassured them that nervousness is natural but confidence in their preparation will help them overcome challenges.

During the event, Yuktamukhi Sahu, a student from Mayaram Surjan Government School, shared her experience of interacting with Prime Minister Modi during ‘Pariksha Pe Charcha.’

She described it as an unforgettable moment, where the Prime Minister advised her to stay positive and find joy in small achievements. Reacting to this, CM Sai expressed his happiness, noting that over two million students from Chhattisgarh had submitted questions for the program this year, reflecting its widespread impact.

CM Sai concluded by stating that ‘Pariksha Pe Charcha’ is not just about exam preparation but also about building confidence and resilience in students. The event was attended by senior education officials and a large number of students.
