RAIPUR,INDIA: Chhattisgarh Chief Minister Vishnu Deo Sai welcomed a delegation from Poland’s Parliamentary Committee on Foreign Affairs at his residence on Monday.
He presented the delegation with a Bastar Art memento and highlighted Chhattisgarh’s rich cultural heritage, natural resources, and industrial potential. He invited Polish and European investors to explore opportunities in the state’s rapidly growing economy.
The delegation, led by Chairman Pawel Kowal, expressed admiration for Chhattisgarh’s natural beauty and cultural diversity. Kowal recalled Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s visit to Poland, which strengthened bilateral relations, and emphasized the significance of their visit to Indian states to explore collaboration opportunities. He praised their visit to Purkhauti Muktangan, which offered insight into the state's vibrant culture.
Chief Minister Vishnu Deo Sai outlined Chhattisgarh’s progress over the past 25 years, underscoring its vital role in India’s economic development, particularly in mining, forestry, energy, and tourism. He assured the delegation of the state’s commitment to fostering a business-friendly environment, with a strong emphasis on the Ease of Doing Business policy.
Secretary of the Industries Department, Rajat Kumar, presented an overview of the state’s new industrial policy, highlighting incentives and infrastructure support for investors. A PowerPoint presentation showcased Chhattisgarh’s industrial ecosystem, cultural richness, and tourism potential.
The meeting was attended by senior officials, including Chief Minister’s SecretariesMukesh Bansal and P. Dayanand, and Director of the Culture Department Vivek Acharya. The Polish delegation appreciated the hospitality and expressed keen interest in future collaborations with Chhattisgarh.
