BEMETARA,INDIA: In light of the upcoming High School and Higher Secondary Main Examinations 2025, Collector and District Magistrate Ranbir Sharma has issued strict directives to regulate noise levels. These examinations are scheduled to take place across 77 centres in the district from March 1 to March 28, 2025, between 9:00 AM and 12:15 PM. Additionally, local and college examinations are planned for March and April 2025.
To maintain a conducive environment for students during the critical period, a district-wide ban has been imposed on the use of sound amplification devices, excessive noise, and motor vehicle electric horns from February 18 to May 31, 2025. Exceptions may be granted under special circumstances, allowing the use of sound amplification devices at a reduced volume with prior permission from the respective Sub-Divisional Magistrate. Furthermore, as per the directives of the Supreme Court, the use of sound amplifiers will be strictly prohibited between 10:00 PM and 6:00 AM.
