RAIPUR,INDIA: Anjaneya University is organizing the two-day INCON 25 international conference on February 21-22, 2025. The main theme of this conference is "Regulatory and Safety Considerations in the Development of Molecular Medicine: Balancing Innovation and Compliance." Sponsored by the Atomic Energy Regulatory Board (AERB), Mumbai, the conference will feature extensive discussions on the latest research and safety measures in molecular medicine. The chief guest, Dr. Renu Rajguru, Medical Superintendent, AIIMS Raipur, highlighted that nuclear medicine is an emerging and vital field in modern medical science, bringing revolutionary changes in the diagnosis and treatment of complex diseases. This technology utilizes radioactive isotopes and advanced imaging techniques to accurately analyze and treat cancer, cardiovascular diseases, neurological disorders, and other serious illnesses. The guest of honor, Dr. Deependra Singh, Chairman of the Education Regulation Committee and a member of the Pharmacy Council of India, New Delhi, emphasized that nuclear medicine plays a crucial role in modern medical science. However, ensuring regulatory and safety compliance is necessary for its effective and safe application. He stated that the use of radioactive materials should be guided by scientific principles to maximize patient benefits while minimizing potential risks. By adhering to the guidelines set by regulatory bodies, we can maintain a balance between innovation and safety in the medical field. Chancellor Abhishek Agarwal stressed the importance of discussions and deliberations on critical topics like nuclear medicine. He highlighted that such conferences not only promote innovation in the scientific and medical sectors but also increase awareness among the general public and researchers. He further stated that these dialogues inspire the next generation of researchers and provide them with opportunities to advance in the field of safe and effective medical technologies.
