Dy CM inspects venue of PM's event

BILASPUR,CG,INDIA: Chhattisgarh's Deputy Chief Minister and in-charge of Bilaspur district, Arun Sao, held a meeting with officials in Mohabhatha to review the preparations for Prime Minister Narendra Modi's visit on March 30.

He assessed the progress of the work done so far and instructed that all tasks be completed by March 25. He stated that the Prime Minister’s visit to Chhattisgarh, especially Bilaspur, is a matter of pride for the state, and people are eager to make the event memorable.

Ahead of the visit, he directed a special cleanliness drive to be conducted across the district from March 25 to March 29. Newly elected councilors, panchayat members, and other public representatives were encouraged to participate. As part of the preparations, the Deputy Chief Minister inspected the parking facilities under construction and provided necessary instructions to officials. The meeting was attended by Additional Chief Secretary and Bilaspur in-charge Manoj Kumar Pingua, IG Sanjeev Shukla, Collector Aawnish Sharan, SP Rajnesh Singh, and other senior officials from the state government and district administration.

During the review, Arun Sao emphasized that Bilaspur has been given the privilege of hosting the state-level event, providing an opportunity to showcase government initiatives effectively. He noted that people from across the state will attend, and it is essential to ensure they feel welcomed and respected. He also directed the Public Works Department to expedite road repairs across the district, especially around Bilha, to ensure smooth arrangements.
