RAIPUR,CG,INDIA: The National Institute of Technology (NIT) Raipur's Entrepreneurship Cell (E-Cell) is hosting the highly anticipated E-Summit 2025 on 22ndand 23rd March. The two-day summit features competitions, panel discussions, and startup expos, providing students with a platform to engage with real-world business challenges and develop entrepreneurial skills. The event commenced with an inaugural ceremony, where Dr. Samir Bajpai, Head, CDC, and Dr. Chandrakant Thakur, Faculty Incharge, E-Cell, welcomed the participants. Dr. Bajpai highlighted the rapid pace of technological advancements and stressed the need for students to acquire skills beyond academics, encouraging them to apply technology innovatively for greater efficiency. Dr. Thakur reflected on the previous year’s success and expressed confidence that this year’s summit would further inspire students and drive innovation.
The Startup Expo showcased student-led startups and innovative projects, offering a platform for networking, ideation, and potential investments. The Investor Pitching sessions allowed budding entrepreneurs to present their business ideas to a panel of investors, aiming to secure funding and gain valuable feedback. The expo featured diverse ventures, including Roadlyne Fleet Management, which presented GPS solutions for fleet owners and transporters, and Antariksh Gyan Abhiyaan by the IDYM Foundation, promoting science awareness through a 36-day road trip across Chhattisgarh. A2 Environment Consultant showcased its water treatment solutions for industrial needs, while Naturelite Foods, co-founded by Aditya Jain, introduced its natural agricultural products, promoting sustainability and quality.
Standout events included B-Model Round 2 and B-Case Study Round 2, where participants devised business models and analyzed real-world case studies. Cricnometrica combined sports with analytics, while E-MUN introduced students to model UN debates, enhancing their diplomatic skills.
Dr. Gajendra Purohit, Founder of Mathscare and a renowned YouTuber, spoke at NIT Raipur's E-Summit, shared his insights on entrepreneurship. He emphasized the value of hard work, resilience, and a long-term vision for successful ventures. Using examples like Jio, he urged students to tackle real-world problems over instant profits, highlighted the potential of EdTech, and stressed targeting India's broader consumer base. His talk inspired the audience to embrace entrepreneurship with dedication and innovation.
The first day of E-Summit 2025 at NIT Raipur concluded on a high note, leaving participants inspired by dynamic sessions, innovative showcases, and engaging discussions, all setting the tone for an impactful second day ahead.
