SECL CMD meets CM

RAIPUR,CG,INDIA: The newly appointed Chairman-cum-Managing Director of South Eastern Coalfields Limited (SECL), Harish Duhan, paid a courtesy visit to Chhattisgarh Chief Minister Vishnu Deo Sai on Tuesday. The meeting was held at the Chief Minister’s residence office in the capital.

During the interaction, Chief Minister Sai extended his congratulations to Duhan on assuming the top position in SECL, a Coal India subsidiary headquartered in Bilaspur, Chhattisgarh.

Duhan briefed the Chief Minister about the various developmental initiatives being undertaken by SECL in mining-affected areas under its Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) efforts. He outlined the company’s commitment to contributing positively to the regions impacted by mining operations.

Chief Minister Sai appreciated the company’s efforts and assured the full cooperation of the state government in promoting both industrial growth and social welfare. He reiterated the state’s commitment to creating a conducive environment for development and sustainable progress.

Harish Duhan officially assumed charge as CMD of SECL on March 26, 2025. SECL operates extensive mining projects across the states of Chhattisgarh and Madhya Pradesh.
